Weights of all members of your party – Helicopters require even weight distribution so, in order to ensure safety make sure you have those handy when booking.

We’ll need to store all your personal possessions in one of our secure lockers. Phones,
cameras, and small purses are okay to bring aboard.

We require all passengers to be here 30 minutes prior to flight time to get through the check-in and safety briefing process. Expect to spend approximately 30 minutes with us before your tour, and an additional 5 minutes after the tour concludes. We promise it will be well worth your while.

The old saying is if you don’t like the weather in Austin wait for 5 minutes. We use state of the art atmospheric monitoring tools to ensure that every ride is as safe and of the best quality possible here are a few things to remember…

We will do everything we can to notify you before your flight time if we are expecting delays or cancellations.

You will not be charged any fees for weather based cancellations or reschedulings.

We will do everything within our power to get you rescheduled and flown the same day.

If we can’t fly you and you can’t reschedule a full refund will be granted.

If you are here and the weather unexpectedly takes a turn for the worse in the short term, there is so much to do within 5 minutes of the heliport so ask our staff or the terminal staff for suggestions.

A 72-hour cancellation or change of tour notice is required for all helicopter tours booked online and come with a $50 cancellation fee, please read below for event-based tours and our sunset tours exclusive cancellation policy. 
If for any reason you decide to cancel or change your reservation, you must notify us 72-hours prior to the tour date for a $50 cancellation fee. Sorry, cancellations or changes made within 72-hours of the tour are not refundable and will be charged in full. This applies to all helicopter tours that are NOT event-based tours or our sunset tours.

A 168-hour(7-days) cancellation or change of tour notice is required for all event-based and sunset tours booked online, they come with a $50 cancellation fee. If for any reason you decide to cancel or change your reservation, you must notify us 168-hours(7-days) prior to the tour date for a $50 cancellation fee. Sorry, cancellations or changes made within 168-hours(7-days) of the tour are not refundable and will be charged in full.

If you decide to cancel or change your reservation, we require your reservation confirmation number at the time of the reservation. All flights are weather permitting.

If for any reason a flight was canceled by Austin Heli Tours due to the weather, your ticket will be fully refunded or you may choose to reschedule your tour plans.
